Welcome to Whitby Lifeboat Station Website

A lifeboat station has been operating here since 1802, from 2007 the volunteer crew have benefited from a brand-new building. Whitby Lifeboat Station is situated on the east coast of England, in North Yorkshire. Clearly visible within the busy and attractive harbour of Whitby. This houses their inshore lifeboat OEM Stone III, crew training rooms a galley and offices whilst the all weather lifeboat George and Mary Webb lies afloat outside.
The Friends of Whitby Lifeboat (FOWLs)presents the ROYAL AIRFORCE SWING WING BAND at the Spa Pavilion Whitby Thursday 10th May 2012. from 7:00 pm
Proceeds to be split 50/50 between FOWLS and RAF Benevelent fund.
Tickets priced £10 per person available from Whitby Lifeboat Station or The Lifeboat Museum.
