It was a big weekend for the crew at Whitby as we said goodbye to our retiring Coxswain Mike Russell.
We hope you enjoyed the celebrations Mike!
We would just like to say a big thank you to those that helped out.
Louise Boocock, Ian Taylor and Richard Dowson who organised the event and the rest of the crew for helping set up.
Whitby Rugby Club for hosting us....
Ben Laws for the amazing afternoon tea.
Whitby Seafoods for the wonderful scampi and cod goujons served from the Scampi Camper.
Jack Lowe Studio of The Lifeboat Station Project for coming along to present Mike with his portrait.
Flash Cab Whitby for the photo booth.
Tentz for the Marquee.
We also said goodbye to retiring chairman Tom Hardy, thanks for the speech Tom, and all your hard work.
Lastly thank you to everyone in the RNLI family who turned up to see Mike off and celebrate with us.
